About Us

Debbie Lennis, the pastor of White Lake Presbyterian Church had a dream to establish a new food pantry to provide free food to those in need in the community. With the help of her husband, R.J., parish members, and many volunteers, her dream has become a reality.



Food For Friends food pantry is in the church located 4805 Highland Road in White Lake. Food for Friends is financed through grants and several partners who also possess a desire to help those in need.

Where is the food pantry located?

Pull in the parking lot, go to the east end of the church, look for the door Food For Friends sign above it.

When can I pick up food?

Food pick-up is the 4th Thursday each month - 4pm - 6pm.
Also the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am till Noon, we will provide a smaller assortment of non-perishables.

Is there a process, or do I just show up?

We have a simple, one-time application process. Just fill out a short form and then you can pick up food each month.

Do you have options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and other dietary restrictions?

Yes, you can add this information to the application form, and we will do our best to accommodate.

I do not have a car. Do you deliver?

No delivery service at this time, but we may add this service in the future.

Do you accept food donations?


Yes we do! Your donation of non-perishable food or money would be greatly appreciated. We accept checks or Venmo payments.
